the “giclée” technique

A “giclée” fine art print is made with fade-resistant archival water-based inks. They are printed on high quality acid-free fine art paper.

It is a technique in which the ink is deposited on the surface of the paper in form of tiny drops in variable size and controlled with extreme precision.

“Giclée” fine art prints provides extraordinary results and currently no other printing system can produce images with this resolution. This very high quality, rich and detailed print, is a lot more sustainable and environmentally safe than regular prints.

A “giclée” fine art print must be treated as fine art and placed away from direct sunlight, even though they are printed with long-life archival UV-safe pigments inks.
